There is nothing more important for our economy, national security, and every American community than to rebuild our industrial base. From steel and aluminum to fertilizer and textiles; from automobiles and airplanes to rocket engines and microchips, the American economy is strongest when we can produce, if and when necessary, everything we need to keep our society safe and prosperous.
Southeast Michigan can quickly become the center of this re-industrialization. Two components are most essential - massive energy production combined with modern industrial infrastructure, and the development of advanced materials and technologies. This is my commitment to the people of the 11th CD. Its time for Detroit and southeast Michigan to shine again as the world’s leading example of a thriving middle class, manufacturing engine, and advanced technology hub.

These revelations are simply huge. Since the end of WWII and the death of Pres. Roosevelt, we have had a deeply embedded faction inside and outside of government that has worked with foreign intelligence services to undermine our best Presidents and our national interests.
This includes Pres. Truman’s un-American support to the French Empire in Vietnam in 1945; Pres. Eisenhower’s famous reference to the infamous military industrial complex; and the assassination of Pres. Kennedy and the subsequent Vietnam War. It also includes many of the destructive steps taken by our government over the last twenty-five years.
This treasonous faction has plunged us into forever wars and sowed growing division within the American people for decades. With this exposure we are, for the first time, pulling the deep state out by root and branch. We are bringing our country together around the truth, reconciliation, and building the future.

ON JULY 15, President Trump attended the Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit
Pennsylvania has just gained $92 billion in investments, with $56 billion in energy investments alone. This could be Michigan, with the right leaders and the right vision. We have three nuclear reactors, and more could be brought on line quickly. Fermi near Monroe has already been licensed for another reactor, Palisades will come back online soon, and Cook is looking to expand into SMR’s.
Given this level of potential investment, these projects should be expedited under the new energy demands. A.I. is not just for cheating on homework, its a return to industrial computing with broad economic applications. This will require an industrial build out with massive investments in base-load energy. Its time to build America smarter than ever before.
Michigan is rich in industrial know-how, machine tool development, and has abundant freshwater and shoreline. With the right investment plan and coordination with the state and federal governments, Michigan could outpace Illinois as the nation’s leader in nuclear power within a decade, making Michigan ground zero for the coming industrial boom.
We could also begin to develop the next big energy technology: the fusion energy platform. UofM and MSU already have a fusion research lab, and are world leaders in new laser technology. We can orient our colleges towards advanced industry and technology and develop an international center of advanced energy technology right here in Southeast Michigan.
From Detroit and Pontiac to Flint, Lansing, and Bay City we could see a revival of productive enterprises. Oakland County could quickly become the R&D center for this industrial boom, if you have the right leadership. Its all there, ready to be activated.
